Is it an audio tour?

No. An audio tour is a route. Interactive stories are a menu: the visitor picks the object, the depth and the pace. They can sit next to a guided tour or an audio tour.

Does AI write the texts?

Accepted Answer

No. AI summarises your sources and writes an intro. The curator writes and approves the stories. Nothing goes live without your approval.

Where is our data and who owns it?

Everything runs in the EU, on Mistral and Hetzner. Your stories and visitor data stay yours. Visitors need no account and the statistics are consent-based.

What does it cost?

You start with a three-month pilot for €1,000, in your own exhibition. After that comes a subscription that fits your visitor numbers, from €299 per month. Hosting, updates and maintenance are always included.

What do we need to supply?

Nothing for the intro: we pick a few objects from your collection ourselves. After that you choose the exhibition and the objects, and supply the sources you already have: texts, catalogues, notes, images, audio and video. You write and approve the stories, print the QR signs and test internally before the opening.

Does this replace our guided tours?

No. The guided tour is for the moment a guide is there. The interactive stories are there for all the other hours, and they simply sit alongside.

Which AI model do you use?

Our platform runs entirely in the EU and we use the French AI model Mistral. Your data stays within European borders: a defensible procurement story for publicly funded institutions.

What types of museum does it work for?

Interactive stories fit all types of museums: from art and archaeological museums to historic sites, science museums, zoos and botanical gardens.

Does it work for temporary exhibitions?

Absolutely. You add and adjust stories yourselves, per exhibition. So you can get started quickly with each new show.

How does it work exactly? Do we need to put QR codes everywhere?

Each object you want to highlight gets a QR code. Visitors scan it with their phone and pick their language and level, with nothing to download. From there they choose what they want to discover.

For each object you can tell a story at every level with text, images, audio, video, quiz questions and polls. Visitors can also always ask their own questions.

Can you import existing audio tours (e.g. GuideID)?

At the moment we cannot import directly from GuideID. We are happy to help you move the texts of your existing tour across.

Can visitors ask their own questions?

Accepted Answer

Yes. Alongside the stories, visitors can always ask the chatbot their own questions. That way they go as deep into an object as they like.

What information does the chatbot use to answer questions?

Accepted Answer

The chatbot only uses sources you have supplied and approved yourselves, so answers stay reliable and grounded in your collection. No made-up facts from the open web.

Which languages are the stories available in?

From one text, the stories are available in more than 40 languages. Visitors pick their language when they scan.

What does the chatbot do when a visitor asks something not covered by our sources?

Accepted Answer

The chatbot only answers based on the sources you have supplied. If a question falls outside them, the chatbot says so honestly instead of making something up.
